West Roxbury 1884.
Once a part of the Town of Roxbury, West Roxbury split off in 1852, after Roxbury declared itself a city. The people of West Roxbury wanted to remain rural. Their town once held Revolutionary War forts, the transcendentalist community of Brook Farm, Civil War mustering grounds, and many more interesting sites. West Roxbury had plenty to be proud of. These details and many more are presented in this full color 24X36 map. It is printed on heavy bond paper, and is colored in neutral rusty aged tones to make it stand out as an outstanding piece in any room. |
